Knitting FAQs

Picking up 2 stitches over 3 rows: When you need to pick up stitches for the sleeves, our patterns often instruct you to pick up “2 sts over 3R”, which means you don’t simply pick up every stitch, but skip some in a specific rhythm. So, “pick up 2 stitches, then skip the next. Pick up” 2 stitches again, and skip the next, etc. (here, “rows” simply refers to the already knitted rows of the back and front pieces).
