Knitting Pattern LOTTAPANTS

Description

As an advanced knitting project, our striped knitted pants model “Lottapants” is a cozy companion for every day. The trousers are worked from top to bottom incl. Elasticated waistband. The pattern includes matching video tutorials from our YouTube Channel.

//Information on sizes/fit of the Lottapants:

The Lottapants have a loose, comfortable fit with straight legs. It sits at navel height, but can also be worn highwaist thanks to the elastic band at the top. The stretchiness of wool also means that you are flexible in your size selection: If you want your trousers to fit closer to the body, go down a size. If you want your pants to fit looser, go up a size.

550 (550) 600 (600) 650-700 (750) 800 g Ecopuno by Lana Grossa (50 g = 215 m), double strand divided into 350 (350) 400 (400) 450 (500) 550 g Color A (main color)
and 200 (200) 200 (200) 200-250 (250) 250 g Color B (stripe color)

Note: Yarn consumption depends on how long the pant legs are knitted. The specified amount of yarn was sufficient for our test knitters up to an inseam length of approx. 75 cm.

The pants can be knitted from wool or cotton (= any yarn that matches the gauge and yardage) and are thus a basic for any season.
Furthermore, the pants do not necessarily have to be knitted with a double strand. For example, a cotton yarn with specifications of 50 g = 100 m also works.

+ Elastic band: 4 cm thick, approx. as long as your waist circumference at the height of the
navel + 3 cm

18 sts x 24 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (after washing), stockinette stitch
